This summer, A Child’s Hope Int’l will be launching a brand new summer backpack program for school-aged children in Cincinnati. We are thrilled to be teaming up with Queen City Kitchen, Cincinnati’s oldest soup kitchen, to help children in the Over the Rhine neighborhood survive the summer weeks with weekly nutrition and hygiene products.

Along with Hands Against Hunger™ food pouches, we will filling backpacks weekly with strategically selected items that children can easily and independently prepare. We will be providing for 200 children in Cincinnati this summer. Can you help by donating any of the following items? If you’d like to help but want us to do the shopping, please make a donation by clicking the “Donate” button below.


  •  Canned chicken or tuna
  •  Individually packaged portions of tuna with crackers
  •  Peanut butter and jelly
  •  Wheat crackers
  •  Canned chili with beans
  •  Individual portions of apple sauce (cups or pouches)
  •  Granola bars
  •  Pancake mix and breakfast syrup
  •  Easy-Mac style macaroni and cheese cups
  •  Youth toothbrush
  •  Youth toothpaste
  •  Purell
  •  Soap

Can you help?

Donation of items not on the list may be accepted but not used in this specific program.

Items must be new, sealed and not expired.
