Although the tree may be the visible symbol of who we are, the invisible roots of that tree are the core values which sustain, strengthen and support our work to the children of the world.
As a non-profit organization, we have an entire universe of values to pick from. Some of these values are so primary and important to us that throughout all the changes in society, government, and our community they must remain as OUR core values, the roots of our mission that cannot be severed or trimmed away.
In our ever-changing world these core values must be deeply rooted, otherwise A Child’s Hope Int’l would weaken, lean and eventually topple.
These core values are not descriptions of the work we do or the strategies we employ to accomplish our mission. The core values underlie our work, how we interact with each other and which strategies we employ to fulfill our mission.
A Child’s Hope Int’l is:
- Committed to Christ
Honoring the name and life saving message of Jesus Christ through our words, actions and deeds in our relationships with all people.
- Committed to Caring
Demonstrating the biblical principle of compassion for our families, guests, staff, the Red Shirt Team members and especially the children we serve.
- Committed to Life
Believing that all life is precious from womb to the tomb, from the unborn to the elderly, from the able to the challenged.
- Committed to Integrity
Striving for ongoing improvement, professional and financial excellence, ethical development practices and careful stewardship of the resources entrusted to our organization.
- Committed to Respect
Embracing, engaging, and encouraging the church and our civic communities with gentleness and respect exhorting them to hear the cry of the orphan and equipping them to respond as they are able.
