A Child’s Hope Int’l will be supporting World Water Day on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Hope Factory™ in Sharonville, Ohio. Over 400 volunteers of all ages and ability will be packing the supplies needed to make 50,000 gallons of clean, safe drinking water for impoverished children around the world.
Approximately 4,500 children die daily from drinking unsafe water that has been contaminated with waste, bacteria and deadly diseases.
A Child’s Hope Int’l will have cases of Clean Water for Orphans™ bottled water available for the public to taste and purchase. Each case of water that is purchased will yield enough supplies to purify 100 gallons of contaminated water. Everyone who purchases a case of water will be given a blue balloon. At the end of the morning event, the balloons will be released simultaneously in support of those 4,500 children who die daily and the countless others who are suffering.
A Child’s Hope Int’l is an implementation partner of the P&G’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program, allowing them to use the P&G’s Purifiers of Water sachets. This year a Child’s Hope Int’l will have purified 3 million gallons of water and provided 25 million high-protein meals as part of their Hands Against Hunger Program™ for orphans and vulnerable children.
