Crosstown Packout, presented by Chick-fil-A, is a BRAND NEW and first annual competitive and thrilling event for high schools in Greater Cincinnati to actively learn about world hunger and the water crisis through a hands-on 300,000 meal pack-a-thon.

Your students will learn about the realities of the hunger and the world water crisis that exist in our modern world and how each of us have an opportunity to become a solution provider. Students will compete against each other to reach the goal of packing 350,000 meals for children in need.

Your high school has the opportunity to send 1-4 teams to participate in this event; each team is made up of 11 students and 1 adult chaperone.

Each team that your high school wants to register for this event will cost your school a total of $75. This will secure your school’s participation in the event and cover some of the over-head costs.

Beyond the school participation fee, each student is asked to make a minimum $25 donation to help cover the cost of producing 350,000 meals.

What is included in the fees?
A Child’s Hope Int’l is a nonprofit organization that relies fully on private donations. With a cost of $0.25 per meal and a production goal of 350,000 meals, all donations and funds received will be used to cover a partial cost of these meals (estimated $75,000).

In addition to paying for the meals produced, each participant will receive an event t-shirt in the color of their high school’s choosing (first come, first serve). These tees are to be worn at the event and will help distinguish the different schools as your school works together to compete against others. The cost of these tees is included in the registration fees.

Dinner, beverages, entertainment and prizes are also included! 

How many students can my school send?
Since space is limited to a total of 400 students and we are trying to maximize representation from several schools, we have limited each school to sending 1-4 teams. During round 1 of registration, schools may register 1 team (a commitment of only 11 students and 1 adult). When round 2 opens, schools may register an additional 1-3 teams. Note: you do not need to know which students will participate at the time of registration.
